Join the Seneca Regional Chamber & Development for a ribbon cutting celebrating the grand opening of Wessels East's new manufacturing facility on Tuesday, November 10 at 4 PM, at the Wessels facility located at 161 Greenfield Street in Tiffin.
The new 45,765-square-foot manufacturing facility represents an exciting expansion for Wessels East and a continued investment in Tiffin by National Machinery LLC and its affiliates. Wessels East has operated on National Machinery's Tiffin campus since 2007, and the new building was designed to support the company's continued growth and expanding manufacturing operations.
Founded in 1908, Wessels Tanks brings more than a century of experience designing and manufacturing pressure vessels, tanks, and related products used across a wide range of industries. The company is known for its solutions in water storage, hydronic systems, fire protection, and other industrial applications. Wessels is an affiliate of National Machinery LLC within the NM Group Global portfolio, with Wessels East serving as the company's Tiffin operation.
The new facility features purpose-built production areas equipped with manufacturing technology and equipment, including overhead and jib cranes, paint booths, a plasma cutter, a collaborative robot, and industrial manipulators. The building also includes modern office space and an employee cafeteria, providing additional space to support the company's operations and workforce.
The expansion is already making a significant impact on the local workforce. Wessels East has created 25 new jobs over the past 18 months, with another 20 positions projected over the next 18 months. This continued growth reflects the company's commitment to expanding its operations and creating new employment opportunities in Seneca County.
Guests attending the ribbon cutting will also have the opportunity to tour the new Wessels East manufacturing facility immediately following the ceremony, offering a firsthand look at the new space and its manufacturing capabilities.
