Ribbon Cutting/Open House. Ribbon Cutting at 10:15a. Carroll County is replacing the 42yr old 34 bed jail with a new 104 bed modern facility to better care for inmates. Join us from 10a-2p March 8th to see the inside before inmates are moved in. Sheriff Tony Liggett is excited to have more space to get programs going to help with rehabilitation efforts such as education (GED classes) and substance abuse recovery to equip people to not come back and see us.
