Join us to celebrate St. Catherine's Medical Equipment Warehouse, an amazing non-profit organization in our community, at their official ribbon cutting on Tuesday, October 21st at 2PM!St. Catherine Medical Equipment Warehouse (SCMEW) is a non-profit, all-volunteer community project dedicated to providing free mobility equipment to residents of East Texas and beyond. From wheelchairs and walkers to other needed medical equipment, their mission is to serve those in need—no strings attached.
Rooted in the Christian principle of charity, this effort was inspired by the teachings of Jesus, who believed in caring for the sick, disabled, and those in need—both physically and spiritually. With that same heart, the SCMEW team has built a warehouse that collects and distributes medical equipment at no cost to the recipient.
Though Christian in foundation, this is a non-denominational program open to all, regardless of faith or background.
