Join Ephraim McDowell Health as we celebrate the grand opening of the newly expanded Outpatient Behavioral Health Building and the presentation of a $58,000 check from the Ephraim McDowell Health Care Foundation, funded through the generosity of our donors.This expansion was made possible in response to findings from the Community Health Needs Assessment, which identified mental health as the second most critical health challenge in our region, surpassed only by substance abuse—the leading issue both locally and nationally. Substance abuse significantly impacts mental health, not only for those directly affected but also for their support systems and loved ones. This newly expanded facility will enable us to increase capacity, providing essential resources and support to individuals and families navigating these challenges.
