The community is invited to celebrate the completion of the Alderman Multi-Use Recreational Trail (MURT) connector to The Legacy Trail on Tuesday, March 31 with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 3:30 p.m., followed by a guided bike ride, "Cycle Celebration," at 4 p.m.Recognized during Florida Bike Month, this exciting milestone for our community’s transportation infrastructure provides a much-needed east-west connection for bicyclists and pedestrians along South Payne Parkway. The festivities will begin at the Bowman Court and South Payne Parkway trailhead, just south of First Presbyterian Church of Sarasota, 2050 Oak St.
