The Chamber staff, and potentially Mayor Matt Starr, will join in welcoming The Gallery on Gambier to the downtown business district and the Mount Vernon community.The gallery represents the work of more than 20 Ohio artists, many of whom live within 30 minutes of the gallery. Featured prominently is stained glass artwork created by gallery owners Kurt and Lorry Wendling. In addition to showcasing fine art, the gallery offers a full-service custom framing center.
Beginning in April, The Gallery on Gambier will also offer stained and fused glass classes, along with a selection of stained glass supplies for artists and hobbyists.
The public is warmly invited to attend and show their support. Refreshments will be served following the ceremony.
