Ribbon Cutting and Open House - UVA Center for Applied Biomechanics
Come celebrate the opening of new research space at the Center for Applied Biomechanics (CAB), see the new equipment and tour the entire 30,000 square foot facility.
The event is being held In recognition of the completion of converting the warehouse at CAB into a fully conditioned lab space that houses the new Messring CIS Compact Impact Sled and a large-scale gas-detonation blast simulator (shock tube), as well the completion of outfitting the Tang laboratory with equipment to perform 3D volume electron tomography, correlative light and electron tomography, synchrotron X-ray scattering, and X-ray microscopy.
