About this Event
We are delighted to invite you to join us for an unforgettable evening as we celebrate this year's shortlisted projects and honour the 2026 RIBA Yorkshire Award winners.
Each of the shortlist will receive the opportunity to showcase their project, the evening truly promises to be one of championing excellent architecture!
The shortlisted projects are:
- 11 & 12 Wellington Place by tp bennett
- Bracken Lodge by ArkleBoyce Architects Ltd
- Calverley Old Hall by Cowper Griffith Architects LLP
- Heritage Quad: York Minster Centre of Excellence by Tonkin Liu Architects
- Technology Hub: York Minster Centre of Excellence by Tonkin Liu Architects
- The Laurels by phi Architects
- Yorkshire house for a couple by Rural Solutions Limited and Sadler Brown Architects-Group
We’re also delighted to announce that the host for the evening will be Andrew Edwards. “Andrew Edwards is an event host, university teacher, trainer and broadcaster. He was a presenter at BBC Radio Leeds for thirty years until 2023, including 15 hosting the breakfast show. He’s made a number of award-winning documentaries including ‘Major at the Music Hall’ with former Prime Minister John Major.”

About the event
Tickets include a two course meal, arrival drinks and wine on the table. The bar will be open for further drinks.
This is a welcoming, celebratory event. There is no formal dress code, but you might choose to dress to impress choosing anything from black tie, lounge suites, cocktail dresses to any outfit you’ve been waiting for a special occasion to wear.
All dietary requirements can be catered for. Please indicate any special dietary requirements in the relevant box on the registration form.
Both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks will be served.

· If RIBA has to postpone or cancel the event the booker is entitled to a full refund of the ticket price only.
· On entry to the event you agree to accept and abide by any venue rules.
· RIBA reserves the right to refuse admission to any ticket holder.
