About Phyllis Court Club, Riverside Pavilion

Perched on the banks of the River Thames in Henley-on-Thames, the Riverside Pavilion at Phyllis Court Club commands uninterrupted views across the Club’s lawns, the Chilterns countryside, and the river itself. Arriving through the manicured grounds sets an immediate sense of occasion, with the Pavilion’s glass façade opening directly onto a private riverside terrace.

Originally constructed in 1913 as the Grandstand, this historic Grade II listed building quickly became a landmark on the Thames. A sensitive extension and enclosure have since enabled the space to be enjoyed throughout the year, carefully preserving its architectural heritage while transforming how it functions today.
