RIBA London Incubator: Dispute Resolution

Calling all sole practitioners and architects working in small practices!

Join us at Solus Ceramics Showroom in Clerkenwell, at 80 Clerkenwell Road London EC1M 5RJ for our next Incubator Session led by Jo Edwards, Director of Edwards Rensen Architects.

The focus will be on Dispute Resolution and we will be joined by Edward Carolan, an expert Chartered Quantity Surveyor working at Lindford Consulting. With over 30 years’ construction industry experience, Edward provides expert Quantity Surveying services working with parties who need help with contractual and commercial disputes. As a Chartered Quantity Surveyor, Edward provides Expert Quantity Surveying services working with parties who need help with contractual and commercial disputes on issues including but not limited to: • Non Payment Issues • Interim Payments Disputes • Valuation of Variations • Valuation of Final Accounts • Additional payment arising from Extensions of Time • Other Loss and Expense claims Edward’s principle objective is to help all contracting parties deliver excellent contract administration and commercial management, assisting them in avoiding and resolving differences.

However, in the event that a dispute arises he is able to provide pragmatic, proportionate expert advice in order to achieve the optimum desired outcome. Edward’s regular involvement in live project work under all the standard forms of contracts and also support project delivery teams in providing advice to core services.
