RIAS and LI CPD: Meeting Shared Goals on Climate and Biodiversity
About this Event
The Royal Incorporation of Architects in Scotland (RIAS) and Landscape Institute (LI) Scotland are delighted to announce the upcoming Architect-Landscape Architect Breakfast Seminar due to take place at RIAS Office, 15 Rutland Square, Edinburgh, EH1 2BE.
Together, we will explore how architects and landscape architects can collaborate more effectively to achieve shared goals. It will examine the distinct value each discipline brings to a project and how these contributions can be aligned to build stronger, more productive connections during the design process.
Drawing on their experience across a diverse range of projects, Felicity Steers, Director at erz Ltd, and Sophie Logan of Sophie Logan consultancy will share their unique perspectives on what makes interdisciplinary collaboration successful, and the common challenges that can hinder it. Along with Zoe Black and Tim Wilson, they will discuss how the Scottish built environment industry can come together to address some of the most pressing issues we face including improving climate resilience, housing delivery, biodiversity, and nature recovery.
Suitable for practices of all sizes, the event will include opportunities for networking and audience discussion.
