This bowling tournament will be held July 13th at Lang's Bowlarama. All bowlers must be PRE REGISTERED FOR THIS EVENT, THERE WILL BE NO WALK INS. This will be a scratch event.
Format will be as follows:
6 games across 12 lanes for qualifying. After qualifying, a cut will made to the top 12. Lanes will be re oiled and the top 12 will bowl a Beat the field style 6 game finals. Finalists will receive 5 points for each opponent they beat (The top score each game will receive 55 points bonus and the second highest score will receive 50 points bonus). Qualifying score will be carried over. The entry fee will be $50 ($20 lineage, $25 prize fund, $5 Fees). This will be a RI Bowling Players Rankings Tier 1 event and award a special point scale (1000 first, 600 second, 400 third/fourth, 300 5th - 8th, and 200 for 9th - 12th. Ripping the Rack will be providing a special prize to commemorate the win for the champion as well. This event will use a special pattern that will be selected live on Ripping The Rack 2 weeks before the event (June 29th). The pattern parameters will be 37-42 feet in length with a ratio between 3:1 and 6:1. The pattern will be selected live from a list of 10 possible choices.
