About this Event

American songwriter, piano virtuoso, producer, and composer Rhyuhn Green (pronounced ry-oon) (born May 5, 2006) is All For Culture — an artist devoted to pushing boundaries and bridging worlds. Hailed by NPR as “both an extraordinary pianist and a composer,” Rhyuhn began his lifelong devotion to music at the age of two and has since captivated audiences with distinctive artistry and unmistakable originality.

His award-winning music, praised by NPR for its “wealth of hummable tunes” and by CBS for “wowing audiences”, has been featured by NPR’s Tiny Desk, the Philadelphia Orchestra, WRTI, The Juilliard School, Lincoln Center, and the Curtis Institute of Music. With composition, producer, and pianist credits in every style of music from pop, to jazz, to classical, to R&B and alternative, Rhyuhn has cemented his reputation as a versatile artist and one of the youngest Recording Academy/GRAMMY® Members. He serves as one of the youngest Grammy U Mentors; an educator and resource for the next generation of artists and professionals. He actively performs with many GRAMMY-nominated ® and and GRAMMY award-winning artists.

At just nine years old, Rhyuhn opened for some of the biggest names in rock and heavy metal. At Rock Allegiance 2015, he performed ahead of Korn, Rob Zombie, Five Finger Death Punch, Bring Me the Horizon, Godsmack, Papa Roach, and others. He later opened Franklin Music Hall (formerly The Electric Factory) for Clutch, and soon after, his band Zombie Kidz made their New York debut at Manhattan’s legendary The Bitter End. At the same time, he began private piano studies at the Curtis Institute of Music under GRAMMY® Award-winning pianist Michelle Cann, and went on to make his Carnegie Hall debut at age 12 as a winner of the Crescendo International Competition.

Rhyuhn later joined Philadelphia’s Marian Anderson Young Artist Program, studied composition with Harvard Rieman and Bakatel Fellow William “Bill” Dougherty, and worked in the jazz tradition with Ruth Naomi Floyd and Jamaaladeen Tacuma. His works have since been performed by the Philadelphia Ballet, Manhattan Brass Quintet, musicians of The Juilliard School, musicians of the Curtis Institute of Music, the Abington Symphony, and more. Currently, he studies under David Serkin Ludwig and Valerie Coleman at The Juilliard School, where he is a proud recipient of a Kovner Fellowship and a frequent collaborator with the Juilliard Jazz department, which is led by Wynton Marsalis.

Through that connection, he formed the Rhyuhn Trio, performing at Philadelphia’s Notsolatin (“The Tiny Desk of South Philly”). In Fall 2025, Rhyuhn performed in the Dear New York exhibition under the celestial ceiling of Grand Central Terminal’s Main Concourse, the School of American Ballet showcased student choreography by William Stout set to Rhyuhn’s Symbiosis, and he performed at the 2025 New York Fashion Week VIP Kickoff at Canvas’ Oculus location.

Rhyuhn has credits with NPR’s Tiny Desk, Lincoln Center, Carnegie Hall, Grand Central Terminal (Dear New York), Rock Allegiance, Franklin Music Hall / The Electric Factory, The Bitter End, Notsolatin (Philadelphia), Philadelphia Ballet, Manhattan Brass Quintet, musicians of the Curtis Institute of Music, the Abington Symphony, NPR’s From the Top, Play On Philly!, and The Juilliard School.

Rhyuhn holds awards from the Crescendo International Competition, NPR’s From the Top, Jack Kent Cooke Foundation, Philadelphia Orchestra, Play On Philly!, Free Library of Philadelphia, Marian Anderson Young Artist Program, and The Juilliard School.

He has been featured in media by NPR’s From the Top, the Black Orchestral Network (Black Music Seen), 6abc Philadelphia, Teen World of Arts Magazine.

Rhyuhn’s mentors include Ulysses Owens Jr., David Serkin Ludwig, Valerie Coleman, William “Bill” Dougherty, Michelle Cann, Anna Meyer.

Rhyuhn holds membership with the Recording Academy/GRAMMYS®, GRAMMY U, and the American Young Artists Association (Artist Member).
