A warm, welcoming space to move, connect and let go.
Join us in Hammersmith for a relaxed, community-led session designed to help you drop into your body, find your rhythm and release tension through movement.
Guided by the fabulous Kay Morgan, this session offers a gentle introduction to belly dance, a low impact dance form focusing on the hips, abominals and natural flow of the body. Through simple, accessible movements, we’ll explore rhythm, coordination and expression in a way that feels supportive and freeing.
There’s no pressure to perform or get it right.
Belly dance is suitable for all no matter age or ability. You’re invited to move at your own pace, soften into the experience and enjoy the process.
Whether you’re completely new or simply curious to try something different, you’re welcome.
What the session includes
💃 Belly Dance Foundations
An introduction to simple, flowing movements through the hips, helping to build confidence, coordination and body awareness.
🎶 Rhythm & Flow
Exploring music and rhythm through guided sequences, allowing the body to move more freely and intuitively.
✨ Embodied Movement
Space to soften, express and release, connecting more deeply with the body in a supportive environment.
After the practice
We will close the afternoon gently with tea, giving everyone time to land, connect, and enjoy a moment of quiet community together.
This session forms part of our monthly Fiery Reset, a Sunday afternoon designed as a soft landing at the end of the week. A space to slow down, reconnect and be held in community.
We begin with Slow Flow, a grounding Yoga, breathwork and meditation practice to settle the body and steady the mind. This is followed by Rhythmic Release, a belly dance session inviting expression, rhythm and release through the hips and spine.
Each session can be experienced on its own, or together as a gentle, complementary journey.

About your facilitator
Kay began dancing at the tender age of three studying a range of styles before discovering the beautiful art of Belly Dance which became her true passion. Whilst she loves the intricate technique of traditional Arabic Belly Dance, she thrives on creating diverse fusions with influences from Hip Hop, Samba and Bollywood. Kay has taught and performed internationally for 15 years, but finds the most joy in teaching and connecting the local community.
Scent Awareness
As part of the atmosphere, we may gently introduce natural scents through incense or diffused essential oils. If scent is something you’re sensitive to, please let us know ahead of time and we’ll happily make adjustments.
