Night #1 of our Rhythm Residencies features artists Ari Hoenig & Daniel Prim.
Get ready for an unforgettable rhythmic experience at Michiko Studios' Rhythm Residencies! Michiko Studios is excited to pay tribute to the rich tradition of percussion and drum collaborations by hosting a week-long series featuring TEN master drummers in our newest studio addition, The Cathedral.
This event is part of a five night series from August 19th through August 23rd, 2026. Each night features two incredible drummers who have been given the creative freedom to define their own duo experience, blending solo showcases, collaborative pieces, and audience conversation.
This special series takes place in our newly built, intimate venue, the Cathedral Studio on our 7th floor at 15 West 39th Street, New York City. With a limited capacity of only 55 audience members per night, this is a rare chance to see these world-class artists up close. Tickets are available for $55 (General Admission) and $35 (w/Student ID).
We are proud to be partnering with Canopus Drums, Good Hands Drum Shop, Zoom, Roberto's Winds and Drummersworld to bring you this event.
