Following the heartfelt success of “Percuss the Vocal Cords”—the first-ever national online cultural showdown in 2020—AFMC Cultural Club is thrilled to unveil the long-awaited next chapter:
“Rhythm of Life: 2nd Beat”
A celebration of voices, rhythms, roots, and expressions from across the nation’s medical and dental community.
Let your talents echo beyond boundaries in this national-level cultural competition spanning two exciting stages!
Event Segments & Categories:
🎶 Solo Song Categories:
1. Rabindra Sangeet/Nazrul Geeti
2. Folk/Patriotic Song
3. Modern Song
4. Devotional Song
💃 Dance Categories:
5. Solo Dance (Folk/Classical)
6. Group Dance (2–5 members; Folk/Classical/Modern)
🔸 Stage 1: Preliminary Round

🟡 Important Notes for Registration:
1. Each participant must provide 3 song names per selected vocal category to avoid song repetition among participants.
2. After submission of the registration form, the organizing team will assign you one song from your listed preferences within 2 days by "First Come First Serve" rule.
3. You must then record and submit a video of your performance (in .mp4 or .mov format) with a maximum file size of 300 MB.
4. You may also submit the video as a Google Drive link, but ensure access permissions are granted for download/view.
🎥 Submission Instructions
A) For Song Participants:
1. The performance video must be a single continuous take without cuts or edits during the performance. Video shouldn’t overshoot 3 minutes.
2. Use a neutral, uncluttered background, with proper lighting focused on your face.
3. Do not use autotune or voice modulation. However, light background noise cancellation is acceptable. Using any kind of voice modification will result into DISQUALIFICATION.
4. You are encouraged to use musical instruments, either played by yourself or others. Karaoke tracks are allowed.
5. For Devotional songs, performance without music is permitted.
B) For Dance Participants:
1. Submit a one-shot, unedited performance video in proper costume. Video shouldn’t overshoot 3 minutes.
2. Maintain a clean background and appropriate lighting on the performer(s).
3. For Solo Dance:
• Only Folk or Classical styles are allowed.
• No fusion is permitted. participants must perform in a single song.
4. For Group Dance:
• Folk, Classical, or Modern styles are allowed.
• Fusion within a single genre is acceptable, but not between contrasting genres (e.g., Classical and Modern).
5. Only Bangla songs can be used for all dance performances.
⚠ N.B: Cadets of AFMC must also register through this stage to participate.
🔸 Stage 2: Final Round
1. A panel of judges will evaluate all submitted videos and select 5–7 top performances from each category for the final round.
2. Selected participants will be required to register by paying a nominal registration fee (details to be shared after selection).
3. The selected performances will be published on social media for public voting. Votes received via SMS and online platforms will be counted.
4. Participants for Solo Song Categories may be invited to a live online session prior to the public voting round.
5. All selected finalists will be invited to AFMC on August 22, 2025, to attend the Cultural Night and Prize-Giving Ceremony as part of the grand event day.

• Judges’ Evaluation: 70%
• Audience/Public Voting (Online + SMS): 30%
