Get Ready to Celebrate 60 Years of St. John's Retirement Village!

Mark your calendars! This October 25th, 2025, St. John's Retirement Village is throwing a spectacular 60th birthday bash, and you're invited to join the festivities! For six decades, St. John's has been a cherished haven, proudly standing as Yolo County's first and only nonprofit senior retirement facility. What began with a groundbreaking on October 15, 1965, at 135 Woodland Avenue has blossomed into a vibrant community where independent seniors aged 55 and older flourish in a peaceful, scenic, and safe environment.

An Evening Under the Stars!

Prepare for an unforgettable evening brimming with joy, delicious treats, and fantastic entertainment! The celebration kicks off on the putting green with a delightful reception featuring locally sourced wine and beer, perfectly paired with an array of delectable appetizers.
Next, we'll whisk you away to the newly renovated Lodge (our Personal Care Unit), where the good times continue with more tantalizing appetizers and the smooth sounds of Little Wing.
Finally, prepare for a truly magical dining experience as we gather around one long table under the stars. Savor mouthwatering ribs and more, expertly prepared by Zamora's very own Bryan Riley, all while being serenaded by the enchanting melodies of Stone's Throw.
