The Luminaria Ceremony is a signature element of every Relay For Life event. At nightfall, lighted bags, decorated with the names of loved ones, are lit in honor and in memory of a life touched by cancer. Teams and walkers take time to reflect and remember their loved ones touched by cancer. When you make a donation for a Luminaria, you are honoring a loved one while helping the American Cancer Society continue to fight cancer on all fronts.Bags are lit by 9pm with quite music playing. Following the luminaria ceremony at 9:30pm, teams will have quite time at their campsites. Those walking the track are asked to do so in silence.
