Rewire the nervous system: A breathwork and cold plunge workshop

This is an immersive two-hour experience to start off your Saturday morning right with full nervous system reset. We created Rewire to serve as a powerful tool in helping us reconnect out in nature instead of inside a yoga studio, to reconnect back to the spirit of the four elements and what they have to offer us as we move through each stage of event, we work with our bodies nervous system process to activate fight or flight and reactive our rest and digest. For Air we do introductory breathwork, for fire we do somatic movement, for water we cold plunge, and for earth we connect back to her by Grounding, also known as earthing.

Breathwork has been proven to slow down our HR, increase PH levels, relax our brain waves into a delta wave, and reset our nervous system, through the backing of science we utilize this natural modality to activate our parasympathetic nervous system.

Somatic Movement invites us to move with the spirit of fire as we move through the stagnant energies, unprocessed thoughts or emotions within our bodies, we utilize this style of dance that originates from eastern medicine and well-known OSHO. Learn how to work with your bodies response mechanisms to let go of what no longer is serving you and stimulate your body's natural system and purification processes.

Cold Plunging can provide a long list of health benefits to our body and the nervous system. Naturally our body will stimulate fight or flight, and we reconnect back to the waters and our mind body and soul to get us through the stage of accessing a deep mediative state and our bodies parasympathetic system which also encourages our body to release endorphins and happy brain chemicals which offers us an amazing way to start off our morning, Cold plunging can quickly boost your system to increase alertness, clarity, and energy levels while also releasing mood-boosting endorphins.

Grounding, also known as earthing, allows our bodies electromagnetic systems to recalibrate with earth's electromagnetic field which scientifically restores us back to a state of hemostasis and help support us in rewiring our bodies nervous system.
