Join us for a powerful evening of poetry, storytelling, and community as we celebrate National Poetry Month at Rewind!
This month, we are honored to feature the incredible Bummi Niyonu Anderson—a dynamic poet, author, educator, and storyteller whose work explores themes of grief, love, culture, faith, and the lived experiences that shape our identities. A proud Albany native, Bummi has been writing for over two decades and has shared her voice across stages, campuses, churches, and cultural spaces. She is the author of multiple books of poetry and prose, and her work continues to inspire reflection, healing, and connection throughout the community. 
Whether through spoken word or the written page, her voice carries both truth and tenderness—making her a perfect featured artist for this special evening!
