Immediately after the performance, acclaimed Mercy Otis Warren biographer Nancy Rubin Stuart joins in a lively audience Q&A with the play’s author and cast. Presented in partnership with the Plymouth Antiquarian Society and the Mercy Otis Warren Society, and with support of the Duxbury Chapter DAR and Eastern Bank, the ticketed event will be held 6 to 8:30 pm and includes light refreshments and cash bar.
The benefit event includes an “Adopt An Artifact” silent auction with opportunities to donate to the conservation and exhibition of objects owned by Mercy Otis Warren, including her exquisitely wrought needlework card table, and items associated with Wampanoag visionary Zerviah Gould Mitchell, including fragile manuscript records of Indigenous and other soldiers in the Revolutionary War.
