As the music fades away on our final ever, Revival Reggae & Lovers Rock Cup Clash event we want to take a moment to say a heartfelt thank you to everyone who has supported our event over the past 9 years
During this period, our cup clash event has been more than just an event – it’s been a community, a celebration, and a shared experience we’ve been honoured to create with you. Your energy and support have made every moment unforgettable.
On Sunday 13th September at the Goldsmiths Student Union Bar New Cross we celebrate with you one more time and it's going to be the biggest and best ever event in our history as we bring back past winners to go head-to-head with each other to find the ultimate champion of revival reggae and lovers rock.

Come and be part of history as 4 champions’ battle it out over 5 rounds playing the glorious sounds of the best revival reggae and UK lovers rock music from the late 1960's right through to the 1980's.
It promises to be nothing short of being spectacular a night where you will dance, cheer and make memories that will last you a lifetime – what a way to go out!
Early bird limited 1st release online tickets are priced at £10 plus a booking fee (£1.55).
Once 1st release tickets are sold out the 2nd release tickets are priced at £15 plus a booking fee (£1.96)
Doors open 6.30pm and the clash starts 730pm sharp until 11pm.
The finale promises to be a night filled with good vibes, great music and lots of drama especially as you will help to decide who is crowned the Champion of Champions winner.
We encourage you to get to the event early, so you don't miss any of the excitement-remember ticket holders get priority entry.
We are raising money for Prostate Cancer
We are partnering with the Errol McKellar Foundation prostate cancer foundation to help raise funds to purchase a mobile PSA blood testing clinic to make it easier for black men over 45 years old to get a free PSA blood test.
The mobile PSA blood testing vehicle will enable and encourage men over 45 to have their PSA blood test in their local area – on their doorstep!
It is so vital that men get tested, a simple blood test could save your life.
£1.1m will fund one mobile PSA blood test vehicle fully operating for two years. So, we are asking for your support by donating what you can to the foundation to help their campaign to purchase a vehicle.

Info: Each contestants name to be drawn from hat out by member of public. This will determine the order of play for contestants in each round

Warm up
Info: 4 Contestants play around 8 minutes each of Reggae Revival or Lovers Rock- Get use to the equipment and ready to entertain
🕑: 07:30 PM - 08:10 PM
Round 1 “The Anthems” (Non -Elimination Round)
Info: 4 Contestants play 3 Reggae Revivals or Lovers Rock anthems. (The idea is to play tunes to entertain the crowd, excite them to sing along and get people moving and interacting!) Crowd vote and judge’s score. Not a knockout round. Host announces scores and points carried forward.

Round 2 – Roots Corner (Non- Elimination Round)
Info: 4 contestants play 3 roots tunes. Crowd vote and judge’s score. Not a knockout round. Host announces scores and points carried forward

Round 3 – UK Lovers Rock* ( Non - Elimination Round)
Info: 4 Contestants play 3 UK Lovers Rock tunes. Crowd vote and judge’s score. Non - elimination round
🕑: 10:05 PM - 10:30 PM
Round 4 – Back to the 70’s ( Elimination Round)
Info: 4 Contestants play 3 tunes released during the period 1970 to 1979 at least one of which must be a Studio One production. Crowd vote and judges score. A knockout round. Host announces score and points carried forward. The 2contestants with the lowest total score at the end of round 4 will have to pack up their record box and say goodbye to the competition. 2 contestants will be eliminated. 2 contestants remain.
🕑: 10:30 PM - 10:50 PM
Round 5 – 1 for 1 (Elimination Round)
Info: Our final 2 contestants go head to head, ONE FOR ONE, a maximum of 7 tunes will be played in this final round on ROTATION. The first Contestant to win 4 of the ONE FOR ONE plays will be the winner. Crowd vote and judges score. Result Announced.

Winners Presentation
Info: The Champion of Champions winner is crowned and presented with the cup .
