Revival Services are scheduled at Pleasant Hill Presbyterian Church in Statham on August 3–4 at 7:00 p.m. A meal will be served prior to each service, beginning at 6:00 p.m.
The speaker for both services will be Rev. Tim Hunter of Bogart, Georgia. He was raised, ordained, and began his ministry at Mars Hill Baptist Church in Watkinsville. He and his wife, Tamara, have planted two churches and pastored another during over 25 years of pastoral ministry. Rev. Hunter also serves as a chaplain and regularly preaches throughout the area.
In addition, Sally and the Sidekicks, a bluegrass gospel group led by Sally Stites of Jefferson, will present a 20-minute concert on Monday night. On Tuesday night, Scotty Piotrowski, former singer and trumpet player for The Jesters, an R&B band from Athens, will sing along with his wife, Cindy.
On behalf of the congregation, Dr. Michael Helms, pastor, invites you to join them for these two evenings of worship as together we focus on our journey as disciples of Jesus Christ.
