Meet The Facilitator:
Dorothy Karanja is a yoga teacher (RYT 500), meditation and sound therapy practitioner, a reiki master practitioner, and holographic energy healer.
Since 2013, she has taught regular yoga and meditation classes in Ottawa, including at the Ottawa-Carleton Detention Centre and the City of Ottawa. Her current focus is on hosting community workshops and seeing private reiki clients, which she has done since 2019.
As a person of colour, Dorothy’s practice advocates for open and accessible healing that respects cultural roots. As a survivor, her practice is trauma informed; she is honoured to hold space for you and walk beside you with unconditional love on your healing journey.
