50e anniversaire du drapeau franco-ontarien – Tintamarre et levée du drapeau à l’Université d’Ottawa

· 11 h – Cérémonie officielle de levée du drapeau sur la Place de l’Université

Le 25 septembre, joignez-vous à la grande célébration du 50e anniversaire du drapeau franco-ontarien à l’Université d’Ottawa!

Les membres de la population étudiante, du personnel, du corps professoral et de la communauté diplômée, nos partenaires et le grand public sont invités à participer à cette activité phare du Jour des Franco-Ontariens et des Franco-Ontariennes pour célébrer l’anniversaire de l’emblème de la francophonie en Ontario.

Le tintamarre, qui marquera le début de la célébration, prendra la forme d’un cortège festif et bruyant à partir du pavillon Tabaret. Apportez vos clochettes, tambourins, cuillères, casseroles ou simplement votre voix pour faire vibrer la francophonie sur notre campus!

La levée du drapeau franco-ontarien suivra à la Place de l’Université, dans un geste symbolique fort qui témoigne de notre attachement à la francophonie ontarienne, de nos racines, de notre histoire commune et de notre avenir partagé.

50th Anniversary of the Franco-Ontarian flag – Tintamarre and flag raising at the University of Ottawa

· 10:30 a.m. – Meet up on Tabaret lawn for the tintamarre procession

· 11 a.m. – Official flag raising ceremony at University Square

On September 25, join us at the University of Ottawa to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Franco-Ontarian flag!

We invite students, staff members, professors, alumni, partners and members of the public to participate in this main event on Franco-Ontarian Day to celebrate the anniversary of the first raising of this emblem of the Francophonie in Ontario.

Celebrations will open with a tintamarre, which is a loud, festive parade, starting from Tabaret Hall. Use a cowbell, tambourine, spoons, pots and pans, or simply your voice to bring the Francophonie to life on campus!

After the tintamarre, we will raise the Franco-Ontarian flag at University Square as a heartfelt symbol of our roots, our common history, our shared future and our love for the Francophonie in Ontario.
