On Sunday, July 12, 2026, we will celebrate the 60th anniversary of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s visit to First Immanuel. After worship service, we will fellowship in the parish hall where our special guest, Tonika Lewis Johnson, will do a special presentation of “The Folded Map Project”. Ms. Johnson is an award-winning multifaceted artist, photographer and social justice artist. In 2025, she was one of 22 people named as MacArthur Fellows, a prestigious fellowship awarded to exceptional, creative and aspiring people.
