After getting to know A LOT of THE absolute BEST NZ has to offer in terms of House/Tech House/Tech DJ’s, dedicated party people, and venues, I’m extremely happy to be hosting my first gig, bringing as many of these elements together (within the tight limitations), curating the perfect musical/dancing journey throughout the evening.
An ALL FEMALE DJ gig is something I’ve been wanting to create for a very long time after meeting (and hearing play) the awe-inspiring Mez (AKA Lady Mez) and Natalie (AKA Nats) at “the legend that is”… Andy Vann’s birthday mini festival last year up in Waipu. They were SO FREAKIN GOOD, I asked them for their contact details directly after their sets and I’ve been DYING to get them in on a gig since then, so this is it!!
Gabby (AKA Gabriella Gonzalez) and Nikki (AKA Nixen) have become VERY good friends of mine, as well as being absolute QUEENS and FIRE on the decks themselves. (I'm one of their biggest fan girl/groupies!! 😜)
Sarah (AKA Hutchie) I heard a few weekends ago at Sorry Mum, and I was BLOWN AWAY by her absolute stand out set…I was crazy excited to get her on board too.
So here it is!! The carefully crafted music sensation is just around the corner. More elements will be involved which I’ll tell you about in good time, but please SAVE THE DATE for now!
*THEME - EXPRESS YOURSELF!!* Anything goes. Be as flamboyant or as subtle as you want, as long as you are comfortable...but having MAXIMUM FUN!!!
This gig is just the first of many! There will be many more, with more of THE BEST DJ's (impossible to fit them all in one night!!)
