Howdy folks! The Revelstoke Square Dance Boot Scoot is back by popular demand with generous sponsorship from Revelstoke Tourism. No experience necessary! You'll be in good hands with caller Leslie Gotfrit who has extensive experience teaching and calling square dances. She'll be traveling from Calgary to lead the charge. In typical square dance tradition, she'll teach the moves and walk the dancers through each dance before firing up the band and leading the dance at speed.
Live music will be provided by the Fire In the Hole Stringband featuring Myra Morrison on fiddle, Denis Severino on guitar, and Rhonda Shippy on the upright bass.
You don't have to bring a partner - square dancing is an excellent social mixer and a nice way to meet and mingle with new people of all ages. For those needing a bit of liquid courage, adult beverages will be available at the cash bar along with non-alcoholic options.
Doors at 7, dancing at 7:30. Tickets are $20, available at Valhalla Pure (cash sales only) All ages welcome!
