is an album of original Jewish music and songs of hope. The songs feature a rich texture of powerful vocal arrangements, harmonies, string instruments, and immersive percussion. Many of the songs are meant to be sung in community, sharing messages of resilience and possibility. Revelry was written over five years, through large political shifts, COVID-19, and personal healing. This music seeks to reflect the depth and vast emotional landscapes of our lives. As our communities ongoingly navigate how to stay connected amidst increasing pressure to isolate and separate, we have a sacred task to stay oriented to ourselves, our people, and our traditions. This album is a prayer for just that.
