With tremendous joy and honor, I welcome you to our 6th season of Sunset Beach Yoga!
Welcome Back, and Welcome New Participants <3
This is an all-levels yoga practice. We begin class by settling into the sand and our space with a breathing exercise, move gently through yoga postures and finish class with a relaxing savasana.
Class is held to the soundtrack of the waves and life along the bay. We never know what we may see or hear. Dolphins and military aircraft have made numerous appearances. Feel free to stop and take a photo!
Class is located on 9th Bay Street in Oceanview, Norfolk (There is street parking). Follow the small lot to the steps and get an amazing view of the bay on your way up. Class is typically held down to the left, once you come off the steps. For a visual: I always have my pink donut towel with me, and I have arm tattoos you can't miss.
I suggest using a large towel or blanket for practice (saves you the hassle of getting sand on your yoga mat). Water, sunscreen and bug spray are also recommended (I always have extra sprays with me if you need).
Class will be held each Tuesday, beginning May 12th and continuing through September 8th. Weather permitting, of course. Our start time changes with the setting sun, so please make sure to follow social media, here on Facebook and on Instagram for the most up to date times and weather announcements.
