The wait is over! We're delighted to announce that tickets are now on sale for RETURN TO SHARPNESS – your chance to ride on the Sharpness branch line, which closed to passengers 62 years ago.
From 31ST JULY TO 2ND AUGUST, we're running trains to celebrate the 150TH Anniversary of the first passenger train to Sharpness, on 1st August 1876. You could be a rail pioneer, one of the first people to view the Berkeley Vale scenery through the windows of our Class 143 Pacer set, along the eight mile return journey.
