About this Event
In celebration of Mental Health Awareness Month, Ardent Grove is thrilled to offer an evening of somatic healing, self-reflection, and deep connection. Join us for a gentle yoga practice followed by guided journaling, reflection, and community connection.
This pay-what-you-can community event is made possible through Ardent Grove's collaboration with The Lanig Family Fund, Guided By Humanity, and Denver Fashion Week!
*** Participants of all abilities, movement backgrounds, and experience levels are welcome and invited to participate at their comfort level. During the practice, you are invited to engage with movement, breath, and mindful awareness in whatever way feels most accessible and supportive to your current physical, mental, and emotional needs. Caregivers are welcome to join for support (physical assistance or otherwise) as desired by each participant. ***
What to bring: Yoga mat, comfortable clothes, water bottle, journal, and writing utensil(s), additional yoga props as desired (yoga blocks, blanket, pillow or bolster, eye mask, etc.), any additional props for movement accessibility or adaptability.
In this program, you're invited to participate in the movement portion as you are able. We will lead a gentle yoga practice that encourages ease, mobility, and a sense of spaciousness in the body, while integrating somatic awareness to support nervous system regulation.
The yoga class will incorporate a gentle flow ranging from seated postures that offer stillness and deeper opening in the body to standing postures that invite connection with strength, balance, and presence.
Following the yoga practice, we'll invite participation in a journaling exercise to encourage self-reflection and explore your inner landscape.
Together, we will reflect on what it means to connect with inner resources for growth, resiliency, and healing, and how we can invite community into that process.
