Retro Video Game Design Workshop | Macclesfield | Ages 11-16

Join our Video Game Design workshop, part of our Digital Creators Club: Macclesfield Edition, for a pixel-powered adventure! Perfect for beginners, you'll dive into retro game design, crafting your hero and coding a 2D game. The creative possibilities are endless!

Once finished, we will publish your game online so you can challenge family and friends. Experience the joy of game design with us—just a few clicks away!

No prior experience is required for any activity, and all equipment will be provided by us. Our friendly tutors will be there to support you every step of the way.

Who can get involved?

This workshop is for young people aged 11-16 from Cheshire East.

How much does it cost?

This project is Funded by UK Government and supported by Cheshire East Council therefore it is free to attend.

What equipment should I bring?

Digital Arts Box will bring all of the equipment needed to participate in this session.
