Retro Rotorua Mtb 2026

Hi all,
Thought it was about time to atleast set a date for this years retro ride! Hoping this year is a little bigger and a few improvements but we will follow a similar recipe that seemed to work well last few years. Again all bikes welcome.. old or new!
This years event will be held in Rotorua again on Sat 14th November. Depending on what happens there might be a bit of action the night before or the day after if people are spending a little more time in town.
Again we will have a peoples choice award and also the theme prize.. TBC on the details there yet but I will keep you posted. Might look to have a little area dedicated to Lahars and Arron Franklin to honor this key piece of NZ MTB.
We will look to split the group ride into two this year.. one at a more gentle pace (similar to last year with multiple stops etc) and then another for those wanting to push a bit further/faster/gravity but still pedal based from the same spot. Feel free to join one or both as you wish.
Will look to have another BBQ this year too. Jack really nailed it last year so we will do something similar again.
Big thanks in advance to the crew who have put their hand up to help this year, really appreciate the help to make this event bigger and better than previous years.
