As liturgical musicians (singers, directors, instrumentalists), you spend so much time doing “Church” that perhaps its time to spend some time being “Church”. It is a great opportunity to spend some time focusing on our own spiritual lives.
The theme of the retreat is “Echoes of the Upper Room: Music Ministry Rooted in Prayer & Communion.” The retreat is free and will take place on Friday, July 10th at the Convent of St. Birgitta in Darien. We are blessed to have Fr. @filiusdomini (Kareem Smith), a priest of the Archdiocese of NY and one versed in sacred music and all types of liturgical music as our retreat master. Flyer is attached.

It’s time to refresh, renew and restore. We need to “eat, drink or else the journey will be too long.” (Angel to Elijah, 1 Kings 19)
