St.Gregory's High School & College has played a pivotal role in shaping up the landscape foreducation to thrive and strive in our beloved country. The impact of our grandiose institution is
undeniable. To add to the glory of St.Gregory's High School & College, a noteworthy role is
played by a club. And that club is Gregorian Math Club – GMC. Being one of the oldest and
biggest mathematics fraternities to exist not only in our school and college but also at the
institutional level, Gregorian Math Club harbored many mathematics enthusiasts and talented
individuals. Our club mastered the art of turning which student into great minds who later started
the world with their brilliance. We take away and pride in our history and look forward to
achieving greatness by each step we take and by each event we embellish.
After 5 years, we Gregorian Math Club, are back again after a long time with our very own
signature event. So buckle up aspirants, as we announce 3rd GMC National Math Festival
2024.
We aim to reinvigorate the beauty of mathematics and knowledge in a brand new stage.
“Where Number Dance And Pattern Shine”
This is our quote of the “3rd GMC National Math Festival 2024.”
We have set the stage and are awaiting your arrival.
Eligible groups for the 3rd GMC National Math Festival 2024 are:
i)Primary - Class 1 to Class 2 (Only Gregorian)
ii)Junior - Class 3 to Class 5
iii)Intermediate - Class 6 to Class 8
iv)Secondary - Class 9 to Class 10, SSC-24
v)Higher Secondary - Class 11 to Class 12

Solo Segments :

iv. Human Calculator

xi. Crack The Numeric Cipher

Here are the details and guidelines about the events which are going to take place this year:
Solo Segments :
Gregorian Math Club - GMC is pledged to give you ample opportunity to prove your prowess in
math with our profound segments. So, gear up, sharpen your mind and find your place among
the top-notch science cerebrals of the nation.
Eligibility:
i. Primary
ii. Junior
iii. Intermediate
iv. Secondary
v. Higher Secondary
There will be an segments on each of these 10 different criteria:
1. Math Olympiad (All Categories)
2. Sudoku (Intermediate,Secondary,Higher Secondary)
3. Rubik's Cube (All categories)
4. Human Calculator (Primary,Junior)
5. Math IQ (All Categories)
6. Mathematical Presentation (Intermediate,Secondary,Higher Secondary)
7. Graph Mania (Secondary,Higher Secondary)
8. History Quiz (Intermediate,Secondary,Higher Secondary)
9. Math Article Writing (All Categories)
10. Extempore Speech (Intermediate,Secondary,Higher Secondary)
11. Crack The Numeric Cipher (Secondary, Higher Secondary)
Rules and Regulations:
i) Participants must report at least 10 minutes before the scheduled time.
ii) Using Mobile is prohibited in the examination. Cell phones must be switched off or on
silent
Mode.
iii) Participants will have to bring their own equipment (eraser, sharpener, pencil etc) to the
Competition.
iv) Calculator is strictly prohibited in Math Olympiad.
v) Answer papers will be provided by the organizers before the competition.
vi) The authority will have all rights to disqualify participants for any kind of illicit activities.

Team Events :
1.Math Project
Eligibility:
i) Intermediate
ii) Secondary
iii) Higher Secondary
Guidelines:
i) The subject must be math based.
ii) A team can include a maximum of 3 members.
iii) The participants must bring all necessary electronic equipment (Multi-plugs, Laptops,
Flash Drive etc.).
The authority will not provide them.
2.Wall Magazine
Eligibility:
i. Intermediate
ii. Secondary
iii. Higher Secondary
Guidelines:
i) Maximum of 3 members are allowed in a team.
ii) There is no specific size for a wall magazine. Participants are permitted to display wall
magazine of any standard size.
iii) The topic of the wall magazine must be based on math.
3.Math Quiz
Eligibility:
i) Secondary
ii) Higher Secondary
Guidelines:
i. A team can include a maximum of 3 members.
4.Math Relay
Eligibility:
i) Intermediate
ii) Secondary
iii) Higher Secondary
Guidelines :
1. A team can include a maximum of 3 members.
5.Scrapbook
Eligibility:
i) Intermediate
ii) Secondary
iii) Higher Secondary
Show off your math skills and crafting prowess in our scrapbook event! Design unique pages featuring your favorite math topics. Join us for a creative journey where math meets artistry. The topic of scrapbook must be math based.

be posted later.
Signature Event:
Mathventure
This is a open segment which means there are no categorical boundaries. More details are coming soon .
It Is to be declared that Gregorian Math Club holds the right to change, add or subtract any
information regarding any of the aforementioned events. Any decision made by the Gregorian
Math Club authority will remain the final decision.
