Resurrection Male Ensemble Concert

In their inaugural concert, the Resurrection Male Ensemble will take you on a spiritual journey into the sacred depths of the orthodox faith. Known for its rich and luscious chords, Orthodox music is rarely performed to its fullest in the states because of the lack of oktavists in America (basses who can sing lower than Bb1 with resonance). But in this concert, will be able to experience 3 of America's finest oktavists: Noah Jackson, Ben Lin, and Alexander Mayang (XanderTheOktavist). Directed by Don del Barrio and Ethan Schneider, you will hear works by Chesnokov, Golonovav, Shemeretov, as well as modern compositions using Orthodox text by Alexander Mayang.
