Supporting Implementation of the Common Core State Standards: Foundational Skills (K-5)
About this Event

CRLP has a longstanding tradition of providing professional development that helps teachers meet the needs of English Learners. Our teacher leaders understand the everyday challenges of providing rigorous academic language and literacy instruction for English Learners. The Results program offers an in-depth understanding of the four major components of reading foundational skills: print concepts, phonological awareness, word recognition, and fluency. Grounded in current research, Results teaches best practices in reading instruction, provides routines that will help students master Common Core State Standards, and offers assessments for determining students' reading proficiency.

Join the CRLP San Diego Region for a THREE day in person session of professional learning of assessment and instruction for WORD RECOGNITION and FLUENCY institute that is organized around three key elements: standards-aligned assessment, teamwork and data analysis, and research-based instruction. This latest iteration of CRLP Results (2021) has been revised to highlight the latest research around the Science of Reading, including current assessments and interventions that support the implementation of the Common Core Foundational Skills standards.

  • Instruction from current classroom teachers who are past participants of the Results program.
