About this Event
Restoring and Empowering Communities Circle:
Cultural Diversity
Pleased to invite you to the RJ4All Rotherhithe Community Centre for an inter-cultural community dialogue to mark this year's world day of cultural diversity for dialogue and development. This will be a continuation of our series of community interventions to help prevent and tackle hate and discrimination and a space to come together across differences.
We are coming together to raise awareness and put forward alternative narratives to the increasing polarisation we often see in media and politics especially in the UK at the moment.
We will facilitate a restorative justice circle, mediated through principles of power-sharing, dignity and respect to allow for a space for people to feel heard and connect to others, centred around how communities are built on understanding across differences. A space to connect.
- 04:30pm - 6pm
- Wednesday 20th May 2026
- RJ4All Rotherhithe Community Centre 30 Plough Way London SE16 2LJ.
This is part of RJ4All's Restoring and Empowering Communities project, a 5-year programme that aims to prevent and address gender-based violence and hate in London.
- Restore and Prevent: Support to recover from experiences and gain the strength as a community to prevent future incidents.
- Grow and Thrive: Enhance knowledge, skills, and confidence to advocate for yourself and others, contributing to a safer and more respectful community.
