RESTORED Widow Brunch at A Cause for Tea

RESTORED Widow Brunch is a monthly gathering created for widows who need a safe, welcoming space to connect with other women who understand the grief journey.

Widowhood can feel lonely, especially when you are trying to rebuild your life while carrying the weight of loss. This brunch is an opportunity to step out, share a meal, laugh when laughter comes, be encouraged, and remember that you do not have to walk this road alone.

This month, we are gathering at A Cause for Tea in Monroe, NC.

A Cause for Tea exists to globally empower women and children while demonstrating God’s love one teacup at a time. Through their tea house, lunch offerings, gifts, volunteer opportunities, and ministry partnerships, they support work that helps women and children both locally and around the world.

As RESTORED Widow gathers to encourage and support one another, we are honored to also gather in support of A Cause for Tea and their mission. Part of healing can be learning how to receive support — and, when we are able, finding meaningful ways to support others too.

Come enjoy brunch, conversation, connection, and a beautiful atmosphere with women who understand.

Ticket Information

There is a $10 hold-your-seat fee to reserve your spot.

This fee helps us plan well and hold space for the women who register. Brunch is not included in the ticket price.

Each guest will order from the restaurant menu and pay A Cause for Tea directly for her own food and drinks.

You can expect a relaxed brunch gathering with good food, warm conversation, and encouragement. There is no pressure to share your story, explain your grief, or have everything figured out. You can participate as much or as little as you feel comfortable.

This is not a formal grief workshop or counseling session. It is a community brunch where widows can connect, be seen, and leave feeling a little less alone.

This brunch is for widows in Charlotte, Monroe, and the surrounding area who are looking for connection, encouragement, and community.

Whether your loss is recent or many years ago, you are welcome.

Please arrive around 12:30 PM so we can be seated and enjoy our time together.

Because seating is limited, registration is required.

The $10 Eventbrite ticket holds your seat only. Food and beverages are ordered separately and paid directly to the restaurant.
