50h (YA) educational retreat and deepening in Restorative Yoga, September 20-22 at Mamita, Stockholm & October 25-27 at Prema Yoga, Sundbyberg Stockholm.
Deepening your knowledge in restoring your body & mind through Restorative Yoga.
This teacher training is for you as a yoga facilitator who wants to expand your knowledge and teaching with an immersion in Restorative Yoga. This training is also for you working with people in other ways and want to use Restorative as a part of a treatment/session or class or you can just participate for yourself to get a deep rest and learn more.
The 1st weekend is mostly about our own practice, a miniretreat, so you get to experience the felt sense of this deep restorative practice to be able to guide others in an authentic way from what you have experienced.
The 2nd weekend we move into the poses, modifications, how to sequence & guide others.
This training will include
- What is Restorative?
- The science behind rest, what happens in our nervous system in stress and rest
- The poses used in this form of yoga
- Various accessories, so-called "props", how do we use these in the best way
- Pranayama & meditation (Nidra & other) adapted to Restorative
- Pedagogy & sequencing, how to teach, and how do we set up classes?
- Foundations in Tantric philosophy, somatics & trauma informed
- How to teach Online
- 2 mentor sessions online 30 min (1 to be scheduled in between the modules and 1 to be scheduled within 3 months after the training has finished)
- 2 online Restorative Classes
- Printed manual
- Certificate (Yoga alliance) after finishing the training and the examining assignments
Limited number of spots to give space for more individual feedback and mentoring but also for more space for questions, discussions and lots of accessories "props" per person for further individual adjustment in poses.
This teacher training in Restorative Yoga counts as Continuing Education at Yoga Alliance.
