Restorative Yoga + Sound Bath

This class combines supported restorative yoga with a live sound bath that accompanies you throughout the practice. You’ll settle into a small number of fully supported poses, held for longer periods of time, while gentle sounds are offered continuously to support relaxation and nervous system regulation.
The focus is on stillness, comfort, and ease. Props are used generously, so the body can rest without effort. As you rest, instruments such as singing bowls, chimes, and other calming sounds are played softly to create a steady, immersive environment.
This is not a movement class. It’s an opportunity to slow down, reduce physical and mental tension, and give your system a break from constant doing. You’re welcome to simply rest, breathe naturally, and receive the experience in whatever way feels supportive.
Suitable for all levels. No prior experience with yoga or sound meditation is needed.
What to expect:
Sue will have the mats and props set up for you. No need to bring anything.
Wear loose and comfortable clothes. Baggy pants and shirt are ideal! Think comfy pajamas. 😊
Arrive 5-15 minutes before class time to get settled in.
Sue will give clear instructions for each pose and will help you to adjust the props to be comfortable. Then you just relax in the pose.
Tiffany will play a variety of instruments for the sound bath to create soothing and relaxing sounds to help your nervous system to downshift and soften.
