In the line-up of restorative yoga poses there is a very special part: inversions. These are the postures that invite you to change your orientation by, in some way, turning you upside down – placing your head below your heart or feet. This is all done in a very supported way through the use of props, so as you situate, you stay connected to a receptive state in the nervous system.Restorative inversions are very near and dear to Morgan's practice. This class will take you through variations that will have you supported in forward and backward inversions in safe and stable ways. Prop set-ups will be individualized to the student in a way that most honestly supports their body.
Open to only six participants. We ask that all within attendance have some restorative yoga experience preferred.
Contraindications for a full workshop of restorative inversions can be if you have glaucoma or certain heart conditions. Session is 90 minutes in length.
