Restorative Aerial Yoga and Reiki is a holistic practice that uses low-hanging hammocks for gentle stretching and relaxation, combined with Reiki, a Japanese form of energy healing. This unique wellness combination with Lynette Stupi, Certified Aerial Yoga Instructor, IHWC (Integrative Health & Wellness Coach) & Reiki Practitioner is designed to promote energetic balance and buffer the far-reaching effects of day-to-day stress. Participants will learn about the foundations of Reiki, engage in a gentle aerial yoga practice that centers on releasing tension and bolsters the flow of "Ki" or life energy, concluding with an extended hammock relaxation and an individual Reiki treatment that will include your practitioner hovering her hands (or gently touch with permission) over specific areas of your body where energy centers exist. No yoga or aerial experience necessary. Bring a yoga mat, and if you wish, a cozy blanket, any pillow or bolster props you may need for extra support, a water bottle, and an eye mask - if you have one.
Fee: $19 for Members/City Residents and $24 for Non-Members/Non-City Residents. Minimum age to participate is 18 years old. Cancellation Policy: No refunds are given unless the spot can be filled by another participant. If the WFFC has to cancel, we will reschedule it or issue a refund.
