Young Artists will learn about the value of repairing rather than replacing, and about the potential for the broken to be beautiful. They will learn skills of: discovering beauty in the disregarded/discarded, making the best of the situation, and that limited resources can often make for the most creative results. We will challenge their assumptions about what art and beauty should be and learn how to build resilience in personally challenging times.
