Restoration Saturday

Restoration Saturdays are a great way to learn practical skills in creation care. Join our conservation team for a morning of hands-on habitat restoration work.

Our efforts are focused on removing invasive vegetation and replanting native species. Projects are conducted at the A Rocha Canada Brooksdale Centre as well as off site in the surrounding watershed.

Come prepared for the weather with rain gear and boots to get muddy in. Or if the sun is shining bring hats and sun glasses. Working gloves, shovels, clippers and other equipment will be provided.

We meet at 9:30 am in the parking lot at the A Rocha Brooksdale Centre in front of the kiosk. Hope to see you there!
