Restful Growth: Alignment and direction for your season

Many of us are capable, responsible, and effective at responding to what life asks of us. The harder part? Knowing who we are beneath the expectations, and where your life is pointing now.

Including a light brunch, this retreat helps women navigate life transitions, focusing on shifting from a performance-based, high-pressure mindset to one of sustainable, "inside-out" growth, progress and purpose.

You will gain concrete clarifications and steps for your current season, and a deeper posture of restfulness.

(This workshop will be longer than previous versions - 9.30-1.30pm given the feedback that more time would be beneficial.)

9.30 - 10.00am Introduction and orientation

• Context setting - Why restful growth? How do cultures and systems make it difficult to grow restfully?

10.00 - 11.30am Part One: Who am I?

• Learn the difference between living "outside-in": meeting societal expectations and performing for our worth, versus "inside-out": living in our inherent worth and true self.
• Through a creative life-mapping exercise, you will gain a clearer sense of who you are and who you are becoming in this season of life
• Experience times of quiet personal reflection, small group discussion and synthesis with the cohort

1 1.30- 1.00pm Part Two: Where am I going?

• Learn the difference between a productive and a fruitful life - and why this is a key to restful growth through the seasons
• Understand what you are cultivating this season - in your heart and with your hands
• Gain clarity on next steps in your current season

12.30-1.30pm: Wrapping up - a vision for the season

• Over a light brunch, consolidate your next steps
• Create an artifact that indicates your direction and next steps this season
