An unequalled opportunity to get away from stress and busyness and to deepen your experience of meditation. This guided retreat will be held at the beautiful and inspiring Madhyamaka Kadampa Meditation Centre near York.A retreat gives us the time and space away from our usual activities to gain a deeper and more stable experience of our spiritual practice.
This retreat will explore the development of a Peaceful Mind. It will help to reduce stress and other unpeaceful minds.
The meditations will be guided and the retreat is open and suitable for everyone, regardless of experience. Each meditation session will begin with short prayers, then there will be a talk followed by the guided meditation. Supper on Friday evening is at 6pm and the retreat begins at 8pm Friday evening and ends Sunday lunchtime. It is also possible to attend non residentially for all or 1 day of the weekend.
Comfortable accommodation is provided in single, twin or shared (4-8 bed) rooms. There are en suite options. Prices include accommodation, meditation sessions and vegetarian meals.
