Abbey is the founder and owner of Mal’s Milky Way LLC. MMW is a private lactation counseling practice where we provide personal lactation support along with prenatal education. She has a passion for helping others, giving parents and their children the education and tools to meet their goals as a family, while setting them up for health and success. She is an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) with a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, and Registered Nurse with neonatal intensive care unit experience.
Whether you’re an expectant parent preparing for your baby’s arrival or currently bottle-feeding your little one, this workshop will guide you through the art of responsive bottle feeding. Learn how to recognize and respond to your baby’s hunger and fullness cues, choose the right bottle and nipple for your baby’s needs, and master feeding techniques that promote comfort, bonding, and healthy development. We’ll explore the different types of bottles and nipples, discuss pacing and positioning for optimal digestion, and explain why responsive feeding supports both physical growth and emotional connection. Join us for an informative, hands-on session that will leave you confident and prepared to make feeding time a nurturing, stress-free experience for both you and your baby.
