long-term patient outcomes.

This course provides healthcare professionals with a comprehensive overview of pediatric HMV, including the growing prevalence of home-based ventilation, key clinical indications, and factors that influence successful patient outcomes. Participants will explore candidate selection criteria, compare invasive and noninvasive ventilation options, and examine the benefits and risks associated with long-term respiratory support in the home setting. Emphasis will be placed on patient safety, caregiver education, multidisciplinary collaboration, and the support systems required to ensure a safe transition from hospital to home and promote long-term success for pediatric patients and their families.
